ABOUT THE DIRECTORS
Katie Bernstein is a documentary filmmaker and editor interested in issues surrounding inequality, gender, power and environmental justice. Her recent work has been featured at KQED and The California Report. She is the recipient of the 2020 Brian Pollack Fellowship in documentary filmmaking and the Randy Shilts Award for Exceptional Reporting in 2020.
Clara Mokri is a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer and photographer. Her work has been featured in California Sunday, The New York Times, TIME, and Vice and her photography was recognized by TIME’s Best Photojournalism of 2019. While at UC Berkeley, she was the 2019 Dorothea Lange and the 2020 Jim Marshall Fellow.
